What we do
The REACH Center is a new WVU program that matches students with resources, on and off campus to meet the needs of students making the transition into college life. Services provided in our office include tutoring, academic advising, success coaching, and much more. In addition to helping students get connected to resources, these programs aim to help students find their sense of belonging and gain the skills necessary to be successful in and out of the classroom.
Who we are
We are a team of Student Success professionals dedicated to helping students during their academic journey. Working with our team members and the WVU First-Gen, WVU RISE, and the TRIO Student Support Services Office, we hope to provide a well-rounded approach to getting you the resources and services you need. In addition to the staff in the office, there are Peer Mentors, Success Coaches, GAs, and other student workers in the office ready to help you when needed.
Where we are
The REACH Center is on the third floor Room 331, of the Student Services Building, just up the road from the WVU Mountainlair, on Morgantown’s downtown campus. In addition to the services and programs offered to students that utilize the REACH Center, we have a physical space for students to learn more. On the third floor, around the corner to the right after exiting the elevator, there is a space for students to unwind, work on homework, ask questions, and of course get some snacks! We encourage all students to stop by when you get a chance to learn more about the REACH Center and other services that WVU has to offer.
