“Math Boot Camp” (August 9 -11, 2017; Early Move-In on August 8, 2017)
Math Boot Camp (MBC) is designed for FYP students who do not place into their desired math course. Participants will complete 18 hours of remediation modules with instructional support and have an opportunity to take the ALEKS placement test at the end of the program. This is a great option for students intending to major in Engineering, Business, Science, or Health Sciences and do not place into college algebra.
The program is limited to 120 students at this time. Students will move-in early to their assigned residence hall, start meeting new friends, and refreshing the math they learned in secondary education. Evening programming will be available.
Note: We had great success with MBC but participation of this program does not guarantee your placement or a seat in MATH 122 or MATH 126.
